This privacy statement is mainly concerned with the processing of personal data of our current and former tenants, customers, prospects and of their staff. Also of persons who have expressed an interest in our services and persons with whom BlueChem and its employees come into contact in connection with its objective and activities.

If you are an employee of a BlueChem tenant, we use this data as part of the services BlueChem provides to its tenants.
If you are a person with whom BlueChem and its employees come into contact as part of its mission and activities, such as, for example, tenants' customers, potential tenants, ... we use this data as part of BlueChem's objective to help start-ups and ambitious growth companies from home and abroad to advance sustainable innovations for the chemistry of the future on an international scale.
When you register for one of our events:

- If we have received your data from a third party, we will use it in the context of BlueChem's objective to help start-ups and ambitious growth companies from home and abroad to advance sustainable innovations for the chemistry of the future on an international scale.
You can unsubscribe in a simple way at any time.
If you are an employee of an organization or company that has a contractual relationship with BlueChem (e.g. a supplier, a customer ...), we use these data in the context of the execution of this contractual relationship.
If you contact BlueChem, e.g. with a request for information, we use this data in the context of processing your request.
If you visit BlueChem, we use this data as part of the physical security of the building.

- If you are a person with whom BlueChem and its employees come into contact as part of its mission and activities:
- Your data is processed in the context of the objective of helping start-ups and ambitious growth companies from home and abroad to advance sustainable innovations for the chemistry of the future on an international scale.
- If you register for one of our events:
The data you provide us with as part of the registration for the event will be processed for:
- The follow-up of your registration and any comments you may have in that context.
- General customer management, including accounting processing, management of disputes and legal proceedings, the collection or assignment of debts and the protection of our rights in general.
- For certain events, participants will receive a simplified list of participants with their names, first names and organization.
- Your data will also be used to inform you about BlueChem's other activities, about current affairs relevant to companies in the sector and about events organized by BlueChem.
- If you are an employee of an organization or a company that has a contractual relationship with BlueChem:

- For general customer and supplier management, including accounting processing, management of disputes and legal proceedings, the collection or assignment of debts and the protection of our rights in general.

How long does BlueChem keep your data?
BlueChem will retain your personal data until such time as BlueChem is notified that your relationship with BlueChem has ended (e.g. you are no longer an employee of a BlueChem tenant, you are no longer a contracting party to BlueChem, you unsubscribe from the newsletter, etc.), unless a statutory retention period applies e.g. a statutory limitation period.
Automated decision making
In no case does BlueChem base the processing of personal data solely on automated decision-making.
We protect your personal data
We make every effort to secure your personal data and to protect your privacy as much as possible. We take all measures that are technically and organizationally necessary for this purpose.
Your rights?
You can exercise your rights by contacting info@bluechem.be. You will be asked to prove your identity.
You can always consult your data.
If your data is not correct, you can request that BlueChem correct, complete and/or update it.
Your data are transferable when processed with your consent and/or by automated means.
In certain cases (as provided by Articles 17, 18 and 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation), you may oppose BlueChem's processing of your data and/or request that BlueChem erase your data.
If the processing of your data is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. This withdrawal will then only apply for the future.

BlueChem reserves the right to amend this privacy statement at any time and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
